Zo Greek opening at Commonwealth Pier

We’re pleased to announce Zo Greek will open this fall at Seaport East. Well-known in Boston and Somerville for their authentic Mediterranean fare made with the freshest of ingredients, they will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner from their new lobby café at the corner of Congress St and Seaport Lane.

Zo Greek is owned and managed by Elias Tembelopoulos, Andy Kolokythas, Christian Makredes, Michael Hunter and Dave Francucci. With two successful locations, at Assembly Row in Somerville and State Street in Boston, the Zo team has built up a loyal following. While the Somerville location offers a cozy dining room and bar, with a robust weekend and evening trade, their State Street location is a staple for the busy lunchtime crowd downtown.

Customers familiar with their Somerville location will be happy to know that their full Somerville menu will be available at the new Seaport East location. In addition, Zo will now offer breakfast with a variety of Greek inspired pastries and breakfast items. Traditional Greek dishes such as avgolemono soup, dolmadakia, spanakopita and authentic gyros, pita wraps, entrees, and salads, along with meze and baklava will ensure tenants and the neighborhood have delicious options available all day. We expect customers will also be able to relax and unwind at the end of the day with beer, wine, and cordials at their bar.

Elias Tembelopoulos, Zo Greek Co-Manager, said: “We are thrilled to bring Zo Greek to Seaport East at Commonwealth Pier. We expect our bespoke bar will become a gathering spot for tenants and neighbors after a long day and we can’t wait to meet our new customers and introduce our delicious style of Greek and Mediterranean food to the Seaport District.”

Kristan McLaughlin, Director of Asset Management commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Zo Greek to Seaport East. As we complete our comprehensive renovation of the ground floor, Zo Greek will seamlessly flow into the new lobby and offer delicious Mediterranean food throughout the day, enabling us to create a welcoming place for our tenants and the Seaport neighborhood to work and gather.”

Dave Downing who oversees retail leasing with Graffito and represented the Landlord in this transaction had high praise for Pembroke’s newest restaurant tenant: Zo Greek has a talented team, loyal customer base and delicious Mediterranean fare that will surely stand out in Boston’s most exciting new neighborhood at Seaport East at Commonwealth Pier.”

We are creating a new lobby at Seaport East, as well as a reimagined Wintergarden including new conference and treetop tenant meeting space.  Filled with an abundance of plants and trees, the new Wintergarden will bring the outdoors in. New conference space will be added along with a private upper-level treetop retreat for tenants to host meetings and events. Throughout, tenants will be able to order table service from Zo Greek while enjoying access to Eastport Park.

Seaport East is located at Commonwealth Pier, our exciting revitalization project to create Boston’s newest waterfront destination. Providing a dynamic mix of retail, community events, and public spaces to gather. It will be a place to enjoy the Harbor with an enhanced Harborwalk, a new public plaza and sweeping views. The repositioned campus will be a high-performance workplace of the future designed to meet the needs of today’s workforce.
