A workplace ready for the future
All tenants in Mästerhuset have signed a green contract, actively working with us on environmental solutions. The contract outlines long-term measures and encourages cooperation and information sharing between the tenant and landlord, to help reduce the environmental impact within information and co-operation, energy and indoor climate, materials and waste disposal.
Mästerhuset has 50% lower energy consumption than the requirements from the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket). The building has more than 19,000 data collection points where data is collected on room temperature, air quality, circulation of air, lighting, heating and cooling as well as 1,200 motion sensors to further ensure the efficient use of energy.
LEED Platinum certified
The first building in central Stockholm
LEED provides a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement; it was developed and is being administered by the non-profit organization U.S. Green Building Council.
To be awarded a Platinum certification the building needs a minimum of 80 points, Mästerhuset was evaluated and scored and received 85 points out of a maximum of 110 points. The categories buildings are scored on are:
