Akira is responsible for managing Pembroke's Nordic business and property portfolio, pulling from a broad background in real estate investment, asset management and development. He is involved in all phases of the project from early inception to completion stabilization. In 2016, Akira relocated to Stockholm from Tokyo, where he managed the second phase of the Azabu Gardens luxury residential development, which he oversaw from inception to operational launch and lease-up. Akira was also responsible for the asset management of Pembroke's 150,000 sq ft Tokyo residential portfolio.
Prior to joining Pembroke, Akira worked for a US-based real estate investor focusing on acquisitions, dispositions and risk management. He also held positions at a Japanese development company managing design, construction and operations of various development projects in Japan. Akira is fluent in English and Japanese.
