Pembroke is delighted to announce that Mästerhuset, the 30,650 sq m office building in the centre of Stockholm, will be inaugurated today at a Grand Opening ceremony. Situated on Mäster Samuelsgatan 17-21, in the heart of the Stockholm CBD, Mästerhuset is Pembroke first development in the Nordics.
Mästerhuset was fully let in April 2015, four months prior to completion. The building has attracted a diverse range of occupiers including financial, legal, media and tech companies such as Nordea, NC Advisory AB, Magnora, TriOptima, Delphi and Bloomberg. In addition, Grupp F12 will open their newest restaurant concept “The Good Life” later in the year.
Mark Takeuchi, Pembroke Senior Vice President and Head of Europe said: As Pembroke’s first major project in Stockholm, we are delighted by Mästerhuset’s success to date. Achieving 100% occupancy four months ahead of completion and now completing the project on schedule is a testament to the whole team’s hard work. We now look forward to welcoming our new tenants to the building
In addition a close, collaborative relationship with project architects Tengbom means Mästerhuset is designed to the highest technical specifications, with the best international design practices, such as three-metre-high ceilings and windows, for more natural light penetration and a better working environment. Mästerhuset is on track to be the first building in the City of Stockholm to be certified at the level of Platinum New Construction by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
Karin Hagelberg, Senior Architect Tengbom said: It has been incredibly exciting to be involved in the development of Mästerhuset throughout the entire process. Thanks to the close cooperation between Pembroke, NCC and Tengbom, the project has been of a consistent high quality with a focus on sustainability and future-proofing throughout. Mästerhuset has a unique approach to customer service benefitting from Pembroke’s international property management experience. This includes a manned reception and state of the art security systems as well as an integrated occupier focused customer service and seamless building management.
The name Mästerhuset was chosen due to the property’s strong connection to the Swedish traditions of craftsmanship, quality and service, which permeates every detail of the building, as well as referencing the location on Master Samuelsgatan
Today’s Grand Opening attracts more than 180 invited guests, ranging from tenants and neighbours, to City executives and representatives from the local business community.
