Located less than four kilometers from Pembroke\u2019s iconic Maximilianh\u00f6fe in the heart of Munich City Centre, this acquisition is the latest of four in the past eighteen months building on the business\u2019 diversification strategy to strengthen its portfolio of residential, mixed-use and office properties in the world\u2019s leading cities. Pembroke is working with development manager, ehret+klein, and both are collaborating with local government and community stakeholders to transform the abandoned lot into a residential complex offering a wide range of lifestyle benefits. The originally planned luxury condominiums are being converted into rental apartments adding to the supply of available housing in Munich\u2019s metropolitan area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Christian Bosiljanoff, Senior Regional Director, Germany, said:<\/strong> \u201cPembroke has a proven track record in Munich of creating places that bring people together. We are thrilled to be working with development specialist, ehret+klein, to transform this abandoned site into the high-quality rental apartments that this neighborhood needs. We have the capital to immediately take responsibility and advance the work to make Alramstrasse 14 an accessible residential-led, mixed-use property.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the development, Pembroke and ehret+klein are also pleased to announce the return of popular grocery store REWE to the neighborhood. Work has begun at the construction site to ensure the safety of the existing structure. Pembroke\u2019s global expertise and deep local knowledge in Munich, bolstered by the talents that ehert+klein contributes, will deliver a residential complex offering a full spectrum of amenities and benefits, further enhancing this well located, coveted neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the transaction, Pembroke was advised by GSK Stockmann. ehret+klein received legal counsel from Mariacher Rechtsanw\u00e4lte in cooperation with Heussen Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft, while the former project owner, M-Concept, was advised by Grant Thornton.
