Pembroke\u2019s M\u00e4sterhuset has achieved the highest energy classification, becoming the most energy efficient office building in Stockholm.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pembroke\u2019s M\u00e4<\/strong>sterhuset has achieved the highest energy classification, becoming the most energy efficient office building in Stockholm. As part of Pembroke\u2019s work to reach net zero emissions, Pembroke has developed working methods that have continuously improved energy efficiency and reduced energy use in M\u00e4sterhuset. EPC A is the highest rating in the European standard for measuring a building\u2019s energy performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is a major milestone for our sustainability work, and hopefully this work inspires other property owners,\u201d says Kristin Willerstr\u00f6m, Senior Regional Director, Nordics, Pembroke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2019, Pembroke has worked actively to improve energy performance in M\u00e4sterhuset, achieving a 30% reduction in energy use by 2023 compared to 2018. This success has a positive impact on tenants\u00b4 energy costs. It also contributes directly to Pembroke\u2019s net zero carbon goals and aligns with EU taxonomy requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One goal has been to ensure that energy efficiency does not affect tenants\u2019 experience of the indoor climate. In October M\u00e4sterhuset was recognized with the highest score for indoor climate in this year\u2019s CFI tenant survey (Fastighetsbarometern), proving the enhanced energy efficiency doesn\u2019t have to compromise tenant comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e4sterhuset celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2025, and Pembroke’s vision for the neighborhood is to create a community where people can connect and engage whether it be for work or social reasons. By creating new passages, squares, restaurants and shops, Stockholm’s most central block has become a more accessible and vibrant place around the clock. M\u00e4sterhuset was delivered to “International Grade A Standard”. This means the very highest quality of materials, technical solutions and infrastructure, together with unrivalled facilities. M\u00e4sterhuset has received the both highest environmental classifications available on the market \u2013 LEED Platinum and WELL Health-Safety. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
